Fund Raisers:
INDIAN PRINCESS returns to Pierce County after over 90 years.
And she's still a doll. In November, l9l3, the TACOMA TRIBUNE offered Indian Princess as a printed cloth doll all ready to sew and stuff as a newspaper premium and quickly sold out the first l000 dolls in two weeks bu assured that more were on the way.
This time she is being offered by Church of the Indian Fellowship (Presbyterian) as a fund-raiser. Member and Puyallup resident Loraine Burdick has drawn the doll from the l9l3 ads and now she is l5" tall, printed in black on pale tan dyars' cloth, all ready to color or embroider, bead and stuff for $16.00 postpaid. She comes with a paper copy to practice painting or designs on, instructions, and also a history both of Princess and of the church. Orders may be sent to: Church of the Indian Fellowship, ATTN: Loraine Burdick, P. O. Box 73245, Puyallup, WA 98373. The Rev. Irvin Porter is church pastor.
